Today, the sheriff's posse is also part of the Benton County Sheriff's Office Emergency Management, Search & Rescue, which is the staff that provide planning and coordination of emergency services for all natural and human caused disasters. Volunteer training includes search and rescue, man tracking and services include emergency preparedness, planning, response and recovery.

Weekly ride nights are held on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Monday nights of each month at the indoor arena at the Benton County Fairgrounds.
Monthly business meetings are held on the 1st Monday of each month at the Carriage House at the Benton County Fairgrounds. An informal dinner is provided by the posse before each business meeting. All family members are welcome to attend the dinner.
Fingerprinting is from 7:00pm - 8:00pm every Wednesday night at the Benton County Emergency Management Office. This is an ongoing fund raising event. We fingerprint non-criminals who need fingerprint cards for jobs (day care, school districts, retirement homes, etc.), expungements, concealed weapons permits, immigration, etc. Children are always fingerprinted for no charge.
